Kirk Robertson
Kirk (Dad) is the big boss of Higher Oak farm and the brains behind it all. He takes care of the most important things in the office like eating all the biscuits!
How does Kirk like his eggs in the morning?
Kirk is the king of pancakes. Every weekend he can be found making pancakes with HOF eggs topped with either lemon and sugar or banana and Nutella!
Amelia robertson
Amelia is the Higher Oak Farm Manager and youngest of the three Robertson girls. She lives on site at the farm and does all the day to day jobs including looking after all the animals as well as overseeing all orders from customers, running our social media pages and carrying out all the deliveries. She is also an expert in ‘chick snuggling!’
How does Amelia like her eggs in the morning?
2 soft boiled eggs eggs for Amelia, dippy yolks with toasted white bread soldiers! Don’t forget the pinch of salt on those eggs!
LINDSAY ROBERTSON
Lindsay (Mum) is the absolute best at keeping the office clean and tidy and is the greatest supporter of all our ideas. She can be found getting stuck into all areas of farm life including helping with the harvesting of honey from the bee hives, cleaning chicken coops and appearing on hot summers days with cold drinks and ice creams for everyone!
How does Lindsay like her eggs in the morning?
2 fried eggs on buttered white toast! Plenty of brown sauce of course!
EMMA ROBERTSON
Emma (the middle sister) is our head baker. She’s incredibly talented and makes the most delicious baked treats! Everyone who knows Emma, knows that if you haven’t tried her baking yet, you are seriously missing out!
Along with Charlotte, she also gets stuck in with all other farm related jobs at Higher Oak.
How does Emma like her eggs in the morning?
Emma’s weekend treat for breakfast is a ham, chorizo and red onion omlette with some tasty mature cheddar cheese!
NATHAN STRONG
Nathan lives on-site at the farm with Amelia. He mucks in whenever he can; whether it’s deliveries, collecting the eggs or cutting the grass, he’ll get stuck right in.
How does Nathan like his eggs in the morning?
Nathan enjoys his eggs for breakfast scrambled with avocado on toast drizzled with hot sauce! (oooo fancy!)
CHARLOTTE ROBERTSON
Charlotte (the eldest of the three) is in charge of all the marketing for Higher Oak Ltd. Everything from the website, printed marketing, photography and newsletters are all brought to you by Charlotte. She’s also runs the bakery side of Higher Oak Farm along with middle sister Emma!
How does Charlotte like her eggs in the morning?
Slowly scrambled in a frying pan with butter along side crispy, streaky, unsmoked bacon. Simple and delicious!
MATTY CONNELLY
Matty’s our voluntary handy-man in the family and has all the knowledge to fix pretty much anything. He’s also a dab hand at cleaning out the coops. Matty has recently become the self proclaimed ‘King of the compost’. There is nothing this guy can’t tell you about hot compost!
How does Matty like his eggs in the morning?
As a ‘bulking up’ rugby player for Lymm Rugby Club, Matty enjoys a feast for breakfast. This includes 2 breakfast wraps, full of crispy bacon, chorizo, cheddar cheese and eggs (fried on both sides).
JULIAN DICKINSON
Julian is our Higher Oak Farm Beekeeper. He takes complete care of the 10 hives on the farm which house approximately 500,000 bees! He works closely with the team to extract all the honey and beeswax from the hives, enabling us to create our honey, beeswax candles and beeswax lip balms!
How does Julian like his eggs in the morning?
You’ve guessed it… Julians a honey man of course! A big bowl of breakfast porridge, drizzled with plenty of our very own Higher Oak Farm honey!
